Activision sends gifts to patient GH3/Wii owners, but continues to ignore their privacy breach.

I’m a sucker for puzzles. The problem with most puzzle games is that they usually focus on one kind of puzzle and I lose interest. Professor Layton, luckily, does not suffer from this problem.

About two years ago I finished a project I’d been working on for a while – a CD lamp. I think it turned out pretty well. It’s garnered a fair amount of attention, and I’ve planned on making another one someday – especially since I didn’t capture any of the construction process when I made it.

I’m sure anybody who has Guitar Hero III for the Wii has heard by now that Activision screwed up, and the disc shipped with a mono-only soundtrack. Not too long ago, Activision activated a web page where GH 3 owners could enter their information so they could start the process of getting a replacement disk. I dutifully signed up, and received an email from Activision on Friday the 18th giving me an update:

Earlier, I wrote about the fact that it was hard to watch TV series on my iPhone because of the limited options that iTunes allowed for syncing video. Other people must have had the same complaint, since the newly released iTunes 7.6 has settings for syncing “least recent” videos.

So, I knew I should probably wait, but I installed MacOS X 10.5 Leopard on Friday.

As promised, here’s the jam jar pulse jet in action. Let’s just say that it has a unique way of shutting itself down.
